These are the first "prototypes" for the candle company that I plan on starting. Really I'm just going to experiment at first and find out what works, then I'll look at selling them. But I have to say, these are my first candles ever, and I'm very excited. Thanks to Brent's mom, she taught me that making them wasn't that hard, after she walked me through, step by step. Thank you so much for all your help!! I'm so excited, and my kitchen is being made over into a candle factory. If you've never made candles before you should try it, I love it, and you will too!!

Hi Emily!

I'm Bebe (a friend of Dawn's and also a Georgia girl!). Just been reading Dawn's blog and saw that you had entered the wonderfully fun and highly addictive world of blogging. Welcome!! :)

I think you are off to a great start ~ your images are very pretty that you posted! :) Can't wait to read more about you and your life up in Savannah (we are almost neighbors!) I've added you to my favorites, so I'll stop by from time to time to say "Hi!".

Happy New(Blogging)Year 2008!!

Blissfully, Bebe :)

Hello, Emily. I also linked over here from Dawns place. I am a Georgia blogger too - actually from one of those small towns just outside of Athens. I am excited that you decided to do this.

I am adding you to my google reader list so I will know when you update. Good luck on the book.

Hey Emily it's me again. Wondered what the candles were. I guess the pictures were published before you explained. I think it is wonderful that you want to make candles and it looks like you are off to a great start. Let me know when you want me to carry them in the shop.
