Bonaventure Cemetery

Here are some pictures from Bonaventure Cemetery today. It was a mild day here in Savannah, thank the good lord, so we didn't roast. If you notice the picture with the change and the rock, we stumbled upon in on a grave. Ramsey and I both felt that is was voodoo related, so we took pictures but no touching!! Strange the things you stumble upon in this city.

I love the picture where you are sitting with the statue. You look like you're having a conversation. It's a little creepy but cool. I can't wait to go to Savannah in October! Please post some more pictures and info, I can't get enough!

I love old cemetaries! The gate is amazing...and I especially love the big angel! Yes, you look quite comfortable visiting the statue and having a chat! :)

These are lovely photos. Amazing statues. I love the one of the angel with her hand to her head as if to say, "boy, I'm glad that one is finally in heaven, he/she was hard to keep up with on earth!"
