Did anyone see the opening ceremony for the Olympics in Bejing? It was amazing!!!!!! I don't think I've seen anything quite like it. It reminded me of one of the Harry Potter movies, The Goblet of Fire, and to think I thought that only witches and wizards could pull stunts like that off!!!!!!:)Friday, August 8, 2008

Just followed the link from Willow's blog after spotting we had just posted about the Olympics Ceremony. WOW! Wasn't that just incredible.

My husband and I were just staring at the opening ceremony dumbstruck! It was fabulous. I couldn't believe that 500 foot long LED screen! How on earth did they come up with that?
This morning I read that the Olympics will cost China 55 billion. They must have spent at least a billion on the opening ceremony, but it was worth it--truly spectacular.
