Another favorite

I don't know if any of ya'll have heard of this author, but I just have to share. Next to Dan Brown, Steve Berry is one of my favorite authors, and he's from coastal Georgia too, which just adds to the love of his books. I just finished yet another one of his wonderful books, The Alexandria Link last night. I loved it! Alot of his stories take place in Europe, which is another thing I love. Here are some of the books he's written, you should give at least one a try, I promise you won't be able to put it down.
The Amber Room
The Templar Legacy
The Alexandria Link
The Third Secret
The Venetian Betrayal- This is the newest, and will be the next book I buy.

If you love to read....

I have to tell ya'll about the best series of books. The Spiderwick Cronicles. I found them one day when I was browsing Amazon.com. They are the coolest little books I've ever seen. I never thought that I would hold another series in such high regard next to my all time favorite Harry Potter. The writing and illustration is amazing. Well I just found out that the movie version is coming out Febuary 14, and I am super excited. I hope it's just as great as the books. So next time ya'll visit the bookstore, look for The Spiderwick Cronicles.
P.S. The world is actually closer than you think.

For The Love of Books

I was just thinking, since it's cold, foggy, and raining in Savannah today, I couldn't help but think of going to the library, or the nearest bookstore. I love books. I am a self described bibliophile, which basically means someone obsessed with books! One of my dreams is to one day open my own bookstore, and travel the world to find rare books and ancient manuscripts. If I had the patience for school, I probably would have been a librarian. Nothing is better that going to a library or bookstore, sinking down into a comfy chair with a cup of tea, smelling the wonderful smell of books, and escaping into the world of the written word. Books are one of the many loves in my life, and around 9pm ever night, I disappear to bed to immerse myself in one of the many books that I'm reading at the time.
