I recieved this wonderful award from Betsy at My Five Men. I have to say it means the world to me when I am picked for an award. I feel like I some how, some way have made a difference. My Five Men is one of my favorite blogs that I haunt on a regular basis. Everytime I visit, I feel like I've pulled up a chair and been handed a hot cup of tea, to sit down and enjoy the newest news, a great story, or an awesome recipe. What book are you reading right now?
The Expected One:Kathleen McGowan- This is like the third time I have read it, it is so so good. And I love it.

Last book you read while on a plane?
I can't remember a book, I know my dad bought me a Rolling Stone magazine before my flight because it had Tori Amos on it, and I love her to.

Last book you read on a road trip?
Brimstone: Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston. They are amazing writers, and they have so many books. I can't watch scary movies, or anything with gore in it, but I can read their books cover to cover!

Most unusual place you've found yourself reading a book?
My closet in my room when I was a little girl, I had a huge closet that I loved and I would pile all my stuffed animals in and read away. At that age it was Ann of Avonlea, and Little Women, and south African story tales, because one of my uncles is from south Africa, and a girl has got to know how a leopard got its spots, and a zebra got it stripes.

What would you take with you on a two week trip to the beach?
I live near the beach, but if I was to go visit my dad in Florida, probably half my bookshelf!!

I've been tagged again! This time it's about my favorite subject and thing to discuss, books!! I'm currently re-reading one book, and as usual I have several stacked up on my nightstand. I'm a read four books at one time type of girl.

The rules are:

This is one of my favorite books. Kathleen McGowen is a wonderful author! If you like The Davinci Code or any books in that same catoagory, then you will love this one. This is my third time reading it, and I discover something new everytime I turn a page. It's fiction with alot of non-fiction tied in. Give it a try, I promise you will love it!!

Looks like I've been tagged! I'm supposed to post seven strange/weird facts about me. I can go ahead and tell ya'll I have way more than seven!

1. I have an unatural obsession with books. I've been this way since I was a little girl. I love books like I love my best friend. One of my dreams is to open my own bookstore one day. If you get me around a bookstore/library, you can kiss your day goodbye, because we'll be staying until they close.

2. I love all animals. I mean animals that you wouldn't normally consider household pets. I'll bring home any stray I find. My parents just loved me for this let me tell you. Currently I am the proud mama of three dogs, Brinkley, Lola, and Gretta Belle. Two bass fish, one oscar, one midas, one jack dempsey, and one beta. They are all mean as heck. For some reason I really attract mean fish. Two tree crabs that I love, and have such a personality, Jean Claude and Jacque(I've decided that they are french). And last but not least four turtles. Jemima, Lucy, Snappers, and Squirt.

3. I get excited about the smallest things. I still have a childlike fascination, and I hold this very dear, because without it, what would life be?

4. One of my favorite things to eat, and something that I get really bad cravings for is hummus and stuffed grape leaves. If you've never tried it, you should!

5. I have an alias, "Tammy", and my best friend is "Wanda". When Tammy and Wanda get together we like to go fishin', take pictures for our fishin' magazine, talk about our fishin' show. And do all sorts of unlady like things, like drink, burp and fart. Wanda also likes to shoot old microwaves with her daddy's shotgun.

6. I love big red purses. I shove half of what is in my house in my purse. You never know what you're going to need, always be prepared.

7. My favorite movie is The Sound of Music. I can sing every song, do all the dances and hand movments, and when my sister and I get together we like to add a little flare, put pots and pans on our heads, dance around and sing "The Hills are alive".
