Tybee Time

This is Tybee Island, one of my favorite islands around the Savannah area. I am obsessed with the older beach bungalow's on Tybee, they are by far some of my favorite houses. Alot of people prefer Tybee in the summer, for the obvious reasons, beach, sun, and great restaurants; but I prefer Tybee in the fall and winter, when the beach is deserted except for the occasional year round resident, and the cold wind and the smell of the marsh whips all around you, and the beauty of the island during the colder seasons. The peace you can find on this island in the winter, counter acts the craziness of summer. Tybee is a great place to visit and get lost when you're in the island mood!!

These shots remind me of the movie "The Gift" with Cate Blanchett.

We spend a good bit of time in Beaufort and love this whole lowcountry vibe. Edward is particulary fond of Hunting Island, because dogs are allowed. By the way, he sends greetings to Lola and Gretta Belle, and Brinkley!

We had thought of the Savannah area for our vacation this year, but decided on The Isle of Plams off of Charleston SC instead, but may make a day trip to Savannah. You guys down south are just the best, ever so friendly.
